Pinewood Derby Saturday, January 21st Heartland Resort in the 2nd banquet hall. The same place we had our holiday party Schedule: People arrive / Practice ................. 1:00pm Registration Ends / Voting Begins ... 2:00pm Voting Ends / Brackets setup .......... 2:15pm Racing starts ................................. 2:30pm Racing Ends .................................. 4:00pm-ish Important Items are: * You MUST use the wood, wheels and axles from the kit. - You can use other minor, decorative items on the car but please keep it simple * No more than 2 and 3/4 inches wide; 7 inches long; 5 ounces - Go to a hobby store and get some additional weight to get up to 5 ounces -- it's heavier than you'd think * Here is a link explaining (in detail) the rules for the Pinewood derby: Northeast District Pinewood Derby Rules
