Attention Scouts, Parents and Leaders - Pack 335 Discussion Forums are now available

What are Discussion Forums you ask?  Well - Discussion Forums are an easy way for us to keep in touch as a pack.  Here are some things you will need to know...

  • To access Pack 335's forums you will need an account.  To protect the security of our forums we are going to create all accounts manually.  Most Scouts, Parents and Leaders should already have an account.  If you dont have one or you are having problems with your account just send a quick email to batch@hrtc.net.  Please be sure to include your scouts name. 
     

  • Once you have logged in you can begin reading and posting.
     

  • To read a topic - click on a category (i.e. Den 1 or Upcoming Events).  Within each category are topics.  When you click on a topic you will see all of the posts for that topic. 
     

  • To reply to a topic - The easiest way to reply to a topic is to just use the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the page.  Just type your text and click the reply button.  Your message will be added to the bottom of the topic.
     

  • To create a new topic - Lets say you are in charge of an event or you just have a question.  To create a new topic just select a category and click the New Topic link then give your topic a name and type your question.
     

  • To create a new category - The software doesn't allow users to create categories.  If you would like to have a new category created just send an email to batch@hrtc.net and we will get it created for you.

So don't be shy - get in there and start using the forums.  Since we are requiring a username and password anything posted should stay within the pack.
